What's the difference between Pods Wi-Fi and Pods 4G?

The 4G version has three exclusive features: independent recording without a phone nearby, real-time summary during recording, and instant summary push when recording ends. Wi-Fi version has full recording and AI summary — just after sync, not live. Wi-Fi version is also lighter (51g vs 58g case), has longer battery life (~22hr vs ~13hr), costs less, and has no regional restrictions.

Does it work without Wi-Fi nearby — can I still record?

Yes. Recording is fully local — Wi-Fi is only needed for syncing. You can record anywhere and sync later when connected.

Can the earbuds record on their own without the case?

No. The earbuds store audio in the case — they need to stay within 3 meters of the case during recording. Always bring the case.

How long after syncing does the transcription appear?

Typically within a few minutes after the recording syncs, depending on recording length and server load.

Can I pause a recording?

Not currently. Recording is start or stop. If you need to pause, stop the current recording and start a new one — they'll be saved as separate files.

Does it work internationally?

Yes — Wi-Fi version has no regional restrictions. It works in any country on any Wi-Fi network. No version matching required.
